The objective of this energized grouping is to collect, preserve and promote screenings of films that matter, in the community style setting of a theatre. The age of motion pictures is quickly being lost to the development of home based entertainment.
The cult
ure of movie going lasted a century, and we need to
preserve the shared experience as well as the classic motion picture art as part of the portfolio. I am in need of funding and assistance in the area of both preserving and building a formidable setting to house, share and screen these silver pieces of history that we are losing, forgetting and ignoring so quickly.
